DJ New Music Freak(NMF) is a Chicago-based DJ that specializes in blending the newest EDM sounds with recognizable Pop favorites to create a high energy dance experience everywhere he performs. He currently spins as the Saturday night resident DJ at Phoenix Bar Chicago, an exciting new venue featuring an LED video dance floor and 600 person capacity and a DJ at Progress Bar, one of the premier bars in Chicago’s Boystown neighborhood. As a past resident of Scarlet Bar Chicago and guest DJ at Berlin Nightclub - Chicago and FIVE Nightclub (Madison) DJ NMF has become one of the premier arbiters of electronic music in the Chicago gay scene. In 2012 and 2013 he rocked crowds of over 2,000 attendees at PrideFest Milwaukee and continues to be influential in the event's planning. DJ Chord has been called "one of D.C.'s most popular, and increasingly prominent, DJs" by Metroweekly. In 2013 he was voted 1st Runner Up as Best DJ by the Washington City Paper and In 2010 he was awarded the title of "Best DJ" by the Washington Blade. He is now in regular rotation at some of DC's hottest clubs and parties including Town Danceboutique, La Boum Brunch and has his own night called Cake at Tropicalia. His eclectic spinning style spans many different genres from hip hop to pop to EDM. "The ultimate goal," he says, "is connecting with people and getting them to dance."

Widely known for his scratching skills, he has held residencies in many of Ireland's top nightclubs. By day he works as a studio operator/producer for FM104 and by night he's one sick puppy on the decks.
