Started as a Dj in 1969 (YES 1969) in Oxford England – stage name: Nicky Francis.

My first residency was Scamps in Oxford, then Leicester, Newcastle & Preston – i then had a call from an agency in Denmark, worked in that country also Norway, Switzerland, Luxembourg, France & Germany where i stayed for 14 years. My last residency was a famous club called SCALA in Bremen. I quit in 1992 – but music is in my blood at the age of 57, we now own a Taxi/Chauffeur Company in England, where my music is played every day.

DJ NMF “New Music Freak” is an up and coming Chicago based DJ who has been on the scene since 2011. He has always been a lover of house and pop music and decided to start sharing this love of music with his friends and fans. Over the past two year he has built a loyal fan base and has become a regular DJ at Scarlet Bar Chicago, one of the premier bars in the Chicago “Boystown” area. In 2012 he also played a guest set at Berlin Nightclub in Chicago and rocked the crowd at the PumpWorks Dance Pavilion at Milwaukee Pridefest. Looking forward to 2013, he is looking forward to continuing playing at Scarlet, returning to Milwaukee for Pridefest, and start playing out at some other Chicago hotspots.

Johnny Labs was born on November 3, 1982, in Lisbon. His passion for music was born early, starting at age 15, Johnny began to create his own mixes of music from iconic artists such as Madonna, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears and many others that at that time did the headlines of the world pop scene. Several of these mixes quickly began circulating on the Internet, especially among fans of this musical art. The passion for music was always accompanied by a continuous learning. Johnny Labs always considered himself a self-taught because it was through the exploration of new sounds and methods that he began to implement the means that took him to the creation of his own studio where he currently works in his originals. House, R'n'B, Pop-Rock are the main styles, but he always tries to instill in his work the influence of other styles. Paul Oakenfold, Dave Aude, Stuart Prince and David Guetta are among some of its DJs and music producers of election, whose influence and inspiration have been following the work of Johhny Labs.
